A dynamic forum focused on the experience of childhood and the process of learning
Clay is one of the most inviting, adaptable and expressive sensory/art materials; one of the “Hundred Languages” of children that Reggio educators talk about.
In this hands-on workshop, we will explore the properties of earth clay, practice some art techniques with clay, learn ways to manage and recycle clay, and share ideas about the variety of ways educators use clay with children.
Facilitators: Kim Lane, Visual Arts Specialist at The Blake School
